Hello to all collectors,

This is my first post; am a new collector of vintage watches (mainly 40's & 50's), I just received this Patek for my birthday : unusual shape, I think, for a Patek. Any idea of the year of issue & reference ? Thanks for all informations. Paul

I wonder if the dimensions of the case reflect the "golden ratio" 1 to 1.618 like the Golden Ellipse. Beautiful classic watch!

Width is 25.5mm (w/o crown) x 30mm (36mm lugs to lugs) Looks wider on the picture. Regards Paul

Dial is gold and I am not sure to understand the meaning of "quartz standardization" because this is a mechanical manual movement ! Regards Paul

Well, that's very interesting. Antiquorum usually checks the movements of the watches they sell ... I was surprised myself that there was no mentioning of the movement - just this lapidar remark towards "quartz standardization", whatever that means. Maybe...

I suspect this is the movement rather than a quartz It is a very thin movement julian
