RMOO4 parts

I have an RMOO4, recently went back to RM for a service, and whilst it was there it was 'updated' as they say. It received new bits, see below the first pic is pre service, you can see the power metre goes upto 78, the 15 , 30 digits on the chrono are smaller.

2nd pic is after the update, bigger digits, power only goes upto 60, so as we can see it has received a new dial.

All fine no problem at all with that.

The third pic is of a 004 posted recently and you can see where I have circled in red on mine that part is made up of two parts, on the pic of the grey one, it is one part.

This came up before when someone a while back sent one back for service the two part bit was changed and it came back with it as a one part bit.

I wonder why mine was not changed?...I wonder if its actually an improvement or if it is just a change of manufacture or something.

As I say not an issue, certainly wouldn't raise it with RM, just intrigued if anyone has any knowledge on why that bit was changed from two parts to one etc
