Reverso Grande GMT One Week Review

Hello everyone,

I've been enjoying my first ever JLC. I have had my Reverso Grande GMT for a week today and here are my impressions:

**Disclaimer** I'm not a technical guy, so my review is not a technical one.

-After initial discomfort, the leather has taken the shape of my wrist and the watch sits very comfortably on my wrist now.

-Dirt collects a lot on the back face (the one not exposed).

-On a design point of view, I'm a bit disappointed that JLC did not put in the Grande GMT a nice day/night indicator like the one in the Duo, Sun/Moon or pretty much all other Reverso watches with a night/day indicator. I'm not sure if it's a new indicator they're using, but I do not really like how there's such a clear demarcation between the day and the night and not a blending from day to night like the other Reverso stated above.

Instead, there's an indicator that cuts from day to night with a line between white and black. This means that at one point in the afternoon, the day/night indicator just shows the top half black and the bottom half while with nothing else showing (no sun, moon or stars).

-I love the big date.

-I love the 8 day power reserve.

-I love the 2 faces (it was like wearing a different watch each day or, if I flip it during the day, a few watches a day).

-Haven't travelled since getting this watch, but I love the ease of changing time zones at the push of a button and to be able to see which +/- GMT time zone I'm setting.

-Love the size of the case. I'm used to wear big watches, so it feels comfortable.

-I love the finish of the watch. Top notch!

In general, a wonderful watch that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend to all.

This being my first JLC, there's one thing that I'm a bit surprised and that I would like to pass to someone that may be able to inform JLC of a bit of feedback (Jaw maybe?). There is no connection between me and JLC. Let me explain, when I bought my Patek, I was invited to register and have been receiving the magazine ever since. I'm not expecting JLC to start a magazine, I just think that after spending a certain amount of money on a watch, isn't JLC interested to find out a bit more about me and try to keep me informed and interested in JLC watches? Now-a-days, keeping a database of the people who purchase your product is something very simple

Sorry for the long rant.

Absolutely love my new watch and I love this forum and the opportunity to participate.

Thanks to all.
