Regarding the fake Panerai thread...
Dear all,
I am not sure if I can still post this message, but it somewhat hurts to see how many of you get all antsy as soon as some one has a question some of you consider silly (about a counterfeit watch in this case). I am a member of several watch-related blogs and rarely encounter anything as petty as this, so please, relax, and stop thinking every one in the whole world knows what you all know: I am a great fan of Panerai models, and own a very nice one myself in my own humble opinion (thanks to a few nice gentlemen here on this blog), but the information they give out is stingy at best, and it is exactly why I am considering buying something else in the future, especially when I see how awful the Panerai community can be sometimes. If some one doesn't know anything about Panerai models, don't expect that person to also know how to find the information; and isn't that what this blog is about? (and yes, I hate counterfeits too) If Panerai enthusiasts behave like peasants, I am going to buy another watch in the future, and maybe other people will too, leaving the brand one for bullies only. So please play nice, out of respect for the brand. We, after all, help make it what it is today.
