reference number question.
i was looking at a vintage omega online. in the description it says that "this watch does not have an assigned reference number". My question is as follows. is this because of the age of the watch (1947)? or is this something i should be concerned about? i.e. has the watch been altered or may not be a genuine omega. thank you for any help.
