Ref 565 in stainless steel

About 8 years ago I was given my late grandfathers watch which seems to be a Ref 565 in stainless steel. At that point I had no idea what it was and just put it in a drawer.  The story I was told was that my grandmother had purchased the watch used around the year of 1940 for the sum of $400.00.  My grandfather passed away in 1975 so the watch has been just sitting for about 40 years.  Just recently I looked into what I had and realized it has some value and in fact may be very rare.  I haven't been able to remove the screw on back so the case number and movement number at this moment are unknown.  The watch is original in every way comparing it to others I have seen pictures of.  The watch in used condition(my grandfather wore it daily) it has the subsidiary second hand below the main hands that is blueish radium and also the main hands are also radium.  It has the original crown and back, the back has a dent in it.  If anyone has information as to the rarity of this model and also if I should be looking into getting it restored of should leave it alone and where to get it restored if that is better.  Any information is great.

Thank you,
Chris
