Question on Compressor waterproof leather straps
I read post here a while ago about waterproof leather straps for the Compressor series. I'm wondering if someone could tell me what they're like and how to recognize one?
My reason for asking is that I'm not sure if the strap with my EWC is a waterproof one or not. The edges are painted with some kind of plastif or rubber finish, so it looks like it should be, but the lining is a more regular soft beige leather. If it isn't then I'd like to order one, since I'm not that keen on rubber straps but want something waterproof. The current strap is a great match though, so if it's ok to get it wet occasionally then I'm all set.
