Hello to all,
Recently, Chris Reale, posted here for the first time. He is a fellow watchmaking classmate of John's (ei8htohms). I was interested to know what brought him to watchmaking, so asked him to share this, which he did. Thank you, Chris.
It has me wondering now what was the genesis for all of our horological passions? Whether you are a collector or repair man, novice or old timer, clocks, pockets, wristwatches or a bit of everything, I would like to know what makes you tick. I know, that was pretty bad and I apologize. I never claimed to be clever. 
So, what is your horological story?
Whether it is brief or extensive, I, and I think all of us, would like to have a read!
