I am in agreement with all your points. I too love the dial,case material and movement but for me it would be my largest watch at 39mm. But the lugs are short and curved and this should help!
The tone of the tantalum allows it to be a very casual watch, but the size of the case and relative slimness makes it work in more formal environments too. Strap choice plays a big part in these transitions (I find the grey mahesh's photo to be one choice...
I agree with the 39mm and its suitability on my wrist. It will not be overly large for me that's for sure but at this price, it has to be a perfect fit (I hope!)
