Hello,
I bought (and posted some scans of) my new (although pre-owned) Chopard LUC Sport about 3-4 weeks ago. It had a few light surface scuffs that I had been thinking about re-polishing, but nothing too serious. Then, about 5-6 days into ownership I noticed that the date had not advanced on my MTE winder. The watch was still running and keeping relatively good(actually not too accurate) time. When I took the watch off the winder to advance the date, I noticed that the date would not change by advancing the hour hands. I can still set it via the "quickset" function, but now the date will not advance. I have two primary questions:
1.) Has anyone else had this problem?
2.) What is required for Warrantee service by Chopard?
I have the Certificate D'Origine stamped by "Morjan" (who/where is that?) but not dated. Is this all I need for service?
Thanks in advance for any help anyone can give....I really need some counsel on this one!!
Regards,
Chris Frazer
PS- I am in Boston, so I plan on using Chopard NYC for repairs. Any better suggestions?
