Price Increase = Cancelled Backorders
I ordered/put down a deposit on a 5120J late last year with an AD. The watch was supposed to be here by March, then April and then June. Shortly after the May 1st price increase, I was advised Patek was unable to fulfill due to supply constraints as none were being shipped to USA. Is this normal for Patek? I am more inclined to suspect the “supply” problem is just a cover by Patek to avoid fulfilling a backordered item at a lower price.
