Dear friends,
I am trying to gather some information on a women's Omega watch that belongs to my mother. I visited her this week and she asked me if I knew anything about the watch and if it was worth anything more than the weight of the gold. I think it would be a shame to trade this for the weight of the gold and told her I would seek some information from some knowledgable people as the watch seems interesting. You will find below some pictures of the watch. It is a very small watch, all gold on a full gold bracelet. The watch is incredibely small, it measures about 12mm as you can see from the pics with the ruler! It is though a mechanical movement and you can see the crown on the back of the watch. I'd love to see the movement as it is so small, but would need to take it to a watch maker to open it! It looks to me more as the idea was to integrate a watch into a jewel. I wonder from what date it is, the only thing I know it is quite old but how old!?...
Any info and thought welcome
Thanks in advance for your help. Matt
