please..5164 or 5712/1a
Two years ago I went to AD to purchase 5712/a but was unavailable so end up buying 5711/a instead. Now I got a call from AD that I can purchase 5712/a right away. However, I was thinking of purchasing 5164 and was waiting for it to arrive. Dealer told me that I still have to wait for more than a month for 5164 to arrive and at that time 5712/a will probably be sold. Without seeing 5164 in person, I'm really having a hard time to decide since I can not see both at the same time. Can somebody give me a wise advise? Thank you ahead

Without any hesitation
I would take 5712/1A. It is simply fantastic and I really enjoy mine even it's just the old model 3712/1A. Taking into account the complications, this watch is really slim and elegant. And the dial... WOW! Good luck, Kari
5712 vs 5164
Somebody want 5712 for fashion ...however it's long lasting. 5712 is very different from 5164. If I have to choose one between them, I choose 5712....

I think it depends on what your lifestyle is--how you normally dress, do in your daily life. The 5164, while beautifully designed, is a discrete watch, better suited for globe trotters, or those very wealthy who don't want to flaunt their wealth.The 5712 ...
No brainer
If you travel then the 5164 is about as good as it's ever going to get. Discrete, almost to a fault. It's functionally just about perfect. You can wear it with a suit and you can wear it with jeans. It's in steel so durable. If you don't travel frequently...
