Pleasantly surprised.

 

Passed by an AD today and noticed this on the counter. Realizing it's the new MUT Moon I decided to have a closer

look.

They only had the RG version as the SS has been sold. Anyway, this piece looks absolutely gorgeous in RG and on

further inspection didn't disappoint one iota. The size was perfect (for me) at 39mm and strapping it on the wrist

made it even more desirable. I quite like the date counter instead of a window which IMO would destroy the fluidness

and classic beauty of the dial.

Anyone here have this piece or in the process of acquiring one? What are your thoughts on it?

The MUT Moon 39 mm is one of the very nice surprises of this year, from JLC... A SUPERB case, like I would love to see more used in the future, with a timeless dial. I have no doubt that it will bez a successful piece, and in fact, it is already a success...

Read your review on it and you are spot on! The case and size is so coherent with the rest of the watch. The thickness is also just right. Still waiting for the DSA to arrive but this one is on my mind. Best fernando

Have to wait for the 2 TT DSA and the TT R 1931, and I have to think a lot about the Duometre à Q.L in white gold, too... I have a golden rule, when it comes to JLC: No more than one or two new pieces each year, and each year I am facing the same problem,...

that Master Moon looks perfect on your wrist. I too mirror Nicolas and love this piece. However, this will have to wait. There are just soo many little details on this piece that makes it all fit together well. And it wears larger than the 39mm.

We are all in agreement on this one..

The MUT Moon is one of my favorite, especially in pink gold. An fantastic modern dress watch.

it looks great and all and yea a moon meter is nice but how many people will even use it?! All things equal for the given price not worth it. An ultra thin 38/40 still has the most value. Just a contrarian view!

Indeed, with this one LGM has luckily rediscovered the 'style classique", which I appreciate a lot. Recently also had the chance to try on this very M Moon in ss , which would be my color. Less is more .. How nice ! Personally I am on 'creative hold' for ...
