Panerai Pre Vendome Logo. Some pictures.
You know that the pre vendome Logo was the first one to come back, after the vintage days, in 1993. The first of the modern Panerai, with the Marina Militare and the Mare Nostrum.
So it has a special place in the heart of the Panerai Fans.

but that in the picture is not a LOGO. The one and ONLY logo is the 5218-201A. The one in the picture is a PAM000 which is also a very nice and old model

the LOGO is also, with its 44mm diameter, the FIRST "small" Panerai in history
You are right again ;-) It took them over a year to finally decide Ø size of the pre-vendome watches
but despite the reduction back then almost everyone thought they were way too big to be worn in public. I remember a Swiss friend (well involved in watches) telling me 'You are out of your mind'. He could not diggest me buying and wearing those watches. T...
When I saw the first Panerai....
I asked the vendor if it was...pregnant, and how many watchlets would it..deliver..at the end of the term
