Overseas Chronometer
I am interested in purchasing the Overseas chronomter.
I was choosing between the Overseas and a Rolex Explorer II.
I like the Overseas design much better.
I've seen different versions of the watch on the web.
There is a black dial, a white dial, and I'm told a blue dial version of the watch. Different pictures also show a border surrounding the 'Vacheron Constantin' logo. I like the text on a watch to be at a minimum, much less a border.
What does the current version really look like? When/if I order a watch, how can I be sure of the 'shelf time', how long the watch has been in inventory? Is there a redesign coming, and are there any previews? Can I buy the watch from any reputable dealer, or do they have to be certified by Vacheron Constantin for my warranty to be in effect?
Thanks in advance for any help you can offer.
Also any guidelines wrt pricing? I've seen prices ranging from $4,995 - $6,900 on the internet.
