The Master 8 day in steel has been growing on me over the past several weeks. I do not own an 8 day manual movement in my collection. I prefer the day/night indicator in steel over gold on this particular model and find the dial appealing. Can anyone elaborate on their experience with the 877 caliber? I know it seems trifling, but my only hesitation is the light brown strap that comes with the watch. I put it on my wrist at my local AD and it was 90% there in my mind, but the strap bothered me. I exchanged straps (went for dark brown over light brown with my MC Geo and i am very happy 
) and am thinking of either pulling the trigger on the 8 day with a black or perhaps a navy strap, which might enhance the blue hands and night indicator. Any suggestions or pictures from friends who own the 8 day and have darker straps would be appreciated? Many thanks and I promise to post pictures when I get the watch.
