Forumners, I was wrong. There is yet another Horse dial watch from Piaget for 2014 ; the Chinese Year of the Horse. The depiction of the horse is not cartoonish nor abstract. It looks like a horse ! It is from the Piaget Altiplano range; a fitting choice ...  

Not sure that this will appeal to the Chinese. Very Etruscan. Perhaps more appealing to Sicilian's. Perhaps a nice present to send to movie moguls if they want someone cast in a particular role. Best, Don Dino !

Granted the image is not specifically geared to the Chinese zodiac and Horse Year but I think there is a specific Chinese demographic it may appeal to. Who are these people? There is a large following of horse racing and the sporting lifestyle in Hong Kon... 

I can see this on the wrists of wealthy punters up at Happy Valley. This could be their lucky watch! Best get these into the Causeway boutique asap. It will sell out fast. Dean

A lot of brands are betting on the Chinese Signs... Patek, U.N, Piaget... Well, this is such an obvious flirt... Anyway, I am sure that it required a lot of work to reach this level of precision and realism. Best, Nicolas

Piaget brought out many animals in the last months as watch dial motifs that are unrelated to Chinese zodiac. This Altiplano Horse is particularly 'Classical Mediterranean'....Greek? Italian? Others below: Regards, MTF ...

This Piaget Horse watch has been available for some years as are the other 11 animals in the Chinese Zodiac Collection but not specifically for 2014. Any animal can be bought in any year....while stocks last. I wonder if they make new supplies if your ani...  

I assume those are cranes? Is this for the Japanese market ? I have always had a soft spot for Tsuru. Dean
