New Chopard Calibre 03.05-M
During my visit to the Chopard Manufacturing facilities in Fleurier the watchmakers were working on this Cal. 03.05-M that has now been launched in the Superfast Chronograph. [click here for the press release.]
The movement diameter is 28.8mm, automatic winding with a power reserve of 60h; 45 rubies, 28,800vph, COSC certified. Tricompax design with date at 4.30. Here you can see the movement with the automatic rotor and bridge removed. The bridge decoration is unique, really cool with the linera slots and quite appropriate for a performance machine.
I will bring you a tour of the Fleurier Ebauches Workshop so you can see for yourselves the investment that Chopard are making in the future. It is wonderful to see that Chopard are not only focusing on their high end LUC pieces, but are bringing real value to the higher production watches.
