Needle in a Haystack
Hello Everyone- My first post here. I'm a long-time collector of vintage and newer GP wristwatches. A few years ago, I found a GP movement with a mystery dial... most likely from the mid 1950s. I thought it would be fairly easy task to find the proper case, but I was wrong.
I've taken the watch to authorized dealers, poked around countless NAWCC marts and even sent the movement and dial back to the manufactory... all to no avail.
They say the hunt is half the fun; I guess I must be having the time of my life. Anyone ever seen such a watch? (I do not know how to post a jpeg to this site. Once I figure it out, I will attach shots of the movement and dial.
