Need help in identifying this JL model from the 1970's
Hello all , from freezing NYC! 
I am hoping that someone might be able to identify this Jaeger LeCoultre wristwatch that was given to me as a gift back in early 1978. It's a manually wound watch in 18ct gold, but I have been unsuccessful in locating any info in it. It still works wonderfully well, gaining only a minute a month. Thanks in advance and Happy New Year to all!
PS The back has 2 sets of numbers: The first line is 9231 21
and the 2nd one is 1497726.

Indeed, what you there is a nice 1970's Jaeger-LeCoultre. Reference 9231 from the Vogue line. 21=18ct Yellow Gold. Inside is the manual calibre 895, 20 Jewels, 28800 vph. Shock protected and antimagnetic. Hope this helps! Happy New Year! Best Blomman
