Need help identifying JLC watch
I recently learned about a watch that was passed down from my grandfather to my father and will eventually be mine. I believe it is from the 1940's. It seems to be 18k pink gold. Thin conservative looking with one small dial in the 6 oclock area. There is only a few numbers on the reverse side that reads: 399385. There is also the letter 'A' below the number. Any help identifying this watch is much appreciated. Thank you in advance.
