my AMVOX1 - finally arrived....

 

i have been talking i would receive my new catch - AMVOX1 for quite some time. It took more than 3 weeks to reach to my door simply because of recent iPhone 4 tsunami. as explained by the shipping company that there was a sudden and huge demand in shipping iPhone4 to around the world. hence my order was unexpectedly affected.

during these 3 weeks of painful waiting, i had been checking the shipping status of my order from the company almost everyday. the only and consistent answer i got from the company was that they had been trying very hard to clear the backlog due to huge demand of iPhone shipment as well as the soc-called "apology" from them. and they said they can't promise when will my parcel be shipped off. then nothing i can do for that, the only way was just patiently waiting for my parcel to come one day!!!

i am sure if you had the similar experience as mine, you would totally understand and share what feeling and the hard time i had during the waiting period.

anyway, the watch - AMVOX1 LE of 1,000 in titanium case finally arrived to my door today.

back to this watch, i do not have any watch's case made by titanium material. it is really interesting and special feeling to wear a watch with this material apart from SS or gold. suppose if the case size is 42mm like this watch, you would feel the watch should be quite heavy, however with this watch made by this titanium material, you don't feel it too heavy!

regarding the color of the watch, the white color hands with also white color arabic numerals contrast very well with the darken grey dial.

may be because i have another watch (LLD) also with size of 42mm plus two crowns, for this one with the same size even plus three crowns, i can quickly and easily adapt with such size of this watch.

since not long ago, i have started to collect some old Memovox, AMVOX1 with alarm function would become the wonderful extension. regarding the quality of alarm from this watch, it gave me a big surprise because it is not only loud, but also the quality is outstandingly clear which gives you a totally different enjoyment compared with those produced from vintage Memovox watch.

all about this new lover look prefect to me, except the single folding clasp which makes me have a bit of uncomfortable feel. i think it is partly because of my small wrist, i need to use the last hold of the strap, then the end of folding clasp goes up till to almost front side of my wrist. i have several JLC watches with double folding clasp which does not give such uncomfortable feeling and issue. in any case, it is just small matter, to me this watch is a definitive keeper that i will be wearing it for sure, but also i will keep it safe till many and many years.
