Hi all
Ok something you do not see everyday.....
I was surfing the net ... and ebait.....
Came across another "gem".....
A Girard-Perregaux Chronometer manual wind in a simple 18k yellow gold screwback case. The case is 34 mm not counting lugs or crown and take 11/16 almost 18mm strap. The condition of the watch is amazing. Looks like it was worn only on special occasions. I came with its original brown croc strap and gold filled signed buckle. The caseback still has part of its original sticker with the sine wave logo and embossed chronometer marking. But the really amazing thing about this watch is its High Freq movement . The movement caliber is a 307718 non-hacking. I remember reading that the early HF watches were marked on he dial with a Sine wave logo above the 6 o'clock position instead of the later "HF" letters. PeterCDE if you could chime in when did they introduce this model ? and when did they start and stop using the sine wave logo on the dial? This is my second GP manual wind chronometer the other is the Railtimer with caliber 307715 hacking having the same case has this one but in steel.

Any thoughts?
Good Hunting
