Love the watch, hate the strap...

 

Is it just me or are there any other 249 owners who share my feelings. The 249 is a cracka of a watch but why on earth do we get such a sub-standard strap with it?  That OEM strap has got to go. It just don't feel right.

So, what does a Paneristi do? Chuck the bugger out and replace it of course. But what with?  I wanted something that made a statement.  Something unique that goes with that wonderful dial.

Here's my 249 all dressed up and ready to roll, feeling kinda horny.



Looking cool in a light khaki. Love the way it matches the numerals.


Looking awesome in dark chocolate and light brown stiching. Again, matching the dial. I think this would look awesome on the 262 as its got a tobacco dial.

What do you guys think????

That black bony gator is a killer It is said many times, OP is not selling straps but why not perfect the watch with a `better` strap...? At least they came up with the recent JV strap which is awesome IMO,,, but I believe they could do better,,, then aga... 

Due to a slight problem with white balance...

in that shot, it came out black! Its actually a dark chocolate brown, very similar to the colour of a tobacco dial. I agree that they are not strap makers but they certainly made some awesome straps in the past. They have a number of amazing pieces, like ...

on the radiomirs. i dont own one but it puzzles me. i know that you unscrew to take the loop off, but how do you get the strap off the loop, the hole doesnt look big enough to get the bend in the loop through. just interested thats all Graham

After you unscrew the screws, the lugs consist of 2 pieces

so you pull apart the 2 lug pieces which attach together in the center of the strap. Cheers, Anthony
