I wound my vintage Lord Elgin one morning this week, wore it to work
and switched to my DateJust the next day. I noticed the power reserve
on this little jewel was right at 49 hours, from a 75+ year old watch.
Pretty amazing.

Vintage American watches did not predict/influence trends the way the Swiss have, but I think their quality is underrated. Would love to see a picture of your LordElgin.
