I am interested in some of your views. This is much debated but I am interested specifically in views of FPJ owners (sometimes I feel this crowd is a little different and more knowledgable!)
Are LE's of an existing series production watch "legitimate"? For example the BMOP's from Singapore or the Titanium CS from Tokyo. There were only about 10-20 made for each BMOP, and around 150(?) for theTitanium CS.
What's the feeling? Can you really call a different colour/material combintion a real LE? Maybe BMOP can be since there ae very very few made? But ethe Titanium CS? there is 150. The Zodiaque for me is clearly a LE and so is the Vaga.
I have mixed feelings about this issue. If, for example the CS, they started to make another 150 LE in another material or colour, followed by another 150 etc, that takes away from the uniqueness I feel about the LE. I may still love the design and buy it but i will not view this as a LE. But if I had bought one of the BMOP Octa RdM, then this feels more like a LE if they do not produce a large number of diff LE watches. For example, UN makes quite a number of LE GMT perpetuals 500 each, in different case/dial combinations. Even the VC, with the recent 1755 LE watch... I myself dont really think of these as"LE" if you know what I mean.....
What do you all think?
