Stefan, Congratulations! What is the watch model and does it have an interesting movement round the back view? It looks very much like a vintage piece (1940s-50s) we saw in the new Chopard Geneva Museum; except they used Arabic numerals in those days. Reg...  

... unfortunately it is a solid case back, but there is some lovely bees beautifully engraved on the case back which I really enjoy it! this watch is QF chronometer certified with caliber 9.96 in 39mm, limited edition! just awesome! stefan

What a beautiful QF! It looks great on your wrist, too. To me, the QF is simply beautiful. The dial and hands are classic, but bold. (Particularly these rather unconventionally shaped hands.) The lugs are interesting and quite distinct from other watches ... 

... totally agree with you, the QF movement is simply awesome. by the way, one shortcoming of this watch is that it is solid caseback, if it has open caseback which allows us to appreciate the movement even more! stefan

Happy for you that you got another of your dream watches. Love your style Stefan. You see a watch you like and then get it a few years later - that confirms the love is still strong and you won\'t get into the impulse buy problem. I need to learn from you... 

... sometimes I have also gotten into the impulse buy from time to time. actually if we can cool down and think twice, for most of the watches, we can wait a bit longer. haha, but i am still a fresh learner as many people out there :-) stefan

This is what you would see inside the L.U.Chopard QF watch. The L.U.C 96.09-L movement has been tested to QF standards by the Foundation Qualite Fleurier (FQF); the toughest watch testing programme in the world. Very few...actually only 2 other brands... ...  

... by the way, not sure is it possible to send the watch back to factory and request them to make the open case back for this watch so that I can truly enjoy the beautiful movement instead of by imagination about the movement!? stefan

That has the same case back mounting but with see through lid? You want to post a picture of yours and some dimensions and let the others guess? It's always a pity to hide something so beautiful. BR Kolosstt

... there are some other LUC with open caseback. however as told by Chopard, the finishing of all their movements regardless close or open case back are not compromised, the quality of their watches is equally high! stefan
