Released in 2012, one year after the Tribute To Deep Sea Alarm madness, the Deep Sea Chronograph Vintage was a very sensual fiction, as it never existed in the vintage world.
But it could have been! Look at what Breitling did with the vintage Superocean: You had the time only, and the chronograph.
Here we have the same case and size than the Tribute To Deep Sea Alarm ( 40, 5 mm ), the same " everything " except the dial, which is clearly inspired from the Deep Sea Alarm Europe, but with two sub dials.
Here are two pictures of the prototype I could take in Paris, during its secret unveiling:

A superb chronograph without seconds hand! Accurate and veryyyy beautiful. Size “as it should be” and with only negative the short distance of the barrettes to the case ☹️ that minimize the possibilities of different straps than the originals! ...
I’ve tried many options!
The best option was with one beige ZULU but something more elegant and “serious” needed! I was looking for a mesh in black but nothing good up to the moment. 🙁
