Inherited a Memovox
My father gave me a pair of watches this weekend. One is a Paul Breguette with 54 diamonds and the other is a JLC Memovox. When I went the the watchshop to learn how to set the date the person tried to buy it off me for $200. Since it was passed down I don't want to part with it.
Anyway I contacted JLC to inquire about the watch and they replied with the following:
Movement caliber 911
Case made in 1967
Reference E 11008 produced from 1967-1973
Model Memovox
Price in 1972 CHF 475
640 made.
Can anyone tell me anything more about my watch and what it might be worth?
