How does one rejoin after being away for awhile. I guess we just jump right in the middle with a photograph!
An image of a small railway that's used to transport sugarcane. I remember going back to the van to get a graduated neutral density filter to tone down the exposure on the top half of the frame only to forget the filter holder when I got back to the tracks. Approximating the horizon on my lens, I handheld the filter and hoped for the best. Of course, I could've gone back to the van as it was nearby.. But lazy no?

Silly me, I thought "medias res" was an actual location
and not Latin for "into the middle of things", that usually describe a narrative that begins, not at the beginning of a story, but somewhere in the middle — usually at some crucial point in the action... I get that part about a crucial point in the action...
