I had the chance to see the new jumbo live in the flesh at an AP house.

The dial can not be captured by cameras but I can tell you the dial is very stunning if you like red.

The BMG is amazing too. It looks like polished metal or platinum. And the mirror black polish is so deep black as I have never seen before.

It’s a beautiful iteration of the jumbo and a very special one.

BMG is defiantly very cool and could make scratch free metal looking cases and bezels which is amazing for the Royal Oak line to keep the classic silver look opposed to the black ceramic.

AP has found something special with the BMG

Would I buy it. YES. But the normal Jumbo is just as beautiful.

Here are the pictures with a plastic cover on top to be fair.

Absolutely!

The weight difference was not noticeable to normal steel but we did not have a steel jumbo there but it felt normal

The BMG black polish adds much to the complexity of the watch and matches the smoked section of the dial. I bet it glimmers even more - and to have a scratch proof high polished bezel would be pretty outstanding for day to day wear. I have been very hopef...
