IGOTT Shots

Greetings to all! I'm still amazed at the fantastic quality of all things IGOTT, and thank each and every member of the PuristS team as well as all of the watch manufacturers and independents who made last week's event so special.

Uncharacteristically, I didn't take a single photo the entire time -- just focused on enjoyment (and figured that the lighting quality was going to be so poor that it would be difficult to get good watch shots).

Luckily, many others were considerably more ambitious than I with regard to picture taking, including my "personal portrait artist," Bart Gronefeld. Bart was everywhere, it seemed, drawing in all of us with his good nature and impressing with his great craftmanship.

My wife Lorrie and I had the pleasure of sitting at the same table with Bart at the Monday night Gala, and he sent along a couple of photos I thought you might like.

Wow, Bart is a more talented man than I imagined. I thought he's a watchmaker, but so apparently he is also are Go Kart Racer and photographer That's a great pic of you and your lovely wife!

I only wish that I had gotten into town on Sunday rather than Monday and met more folks at the mixer -- I was one of the folks who got the arrival day wrong. Also, I had to do some conference calls and so missed some of the sessions. And, I was suffering ...
