I got mine too!
I finally got my Laurent Ferrier Galet micro rotor too....a week after Horogasm got his in Singapore last week 
My eyes were originally set on the white gold, black dial example but eventually I picked the silver dial version after I saw it in the flesh with a gray strap.
The watch is more elegant than I thought and the finishing is simply superb. In fact, the pictures here won't do it justice. Don't worry - I won't bore you with the mechanical details by pretending to be an expert on the 'double direct impulse' system that replaced the traditional lever escapement.

Ferrier vs. Moser?
Your Ferrier is gorgeous. Your entire collection is absolutely first-rate. I would be grateful to hear your opinions comparing and contrasting your Ferrier and your Moser. Aesthetically? Fit and finish? Timekeeping precision? Regards, Jon

Love them both but they are very different watches. The LF is a time only piece with excellent craftsmanship and a non-traditional movement. The Moser on the other hand is a fabulous complication. The instantaneous date in particular is absolutely amazing...
