The ?Mille Miglia GMT 2005? is a steel chronograph equipped with a self-winding chronometer-certified movement. It has a power-reserve of approx. 46-hour.
The silvery coloured dial features highly readable sporty black counters. It is equipped with a tachometric scale for reading off speeds of between 60 and 240 km/h. The watch has a 12-hour counter at 6 o?clock, small seconds at 9 o?clock, a 30-minute counter at 12 o?clock and a 1/4th of a second chronograph hand. The time in a second time-zone is indicated by the 24 hour scale, engraved on the bezel. The glare-proof cambered sapphire crystal ensures perfect readability of the dial equipped with luminescent dots and numerals. The natural black rubber strap with 1960s Dunlop Racing tyre-tread motif. This model is water-resistant up to 50 metres.
A limited and numbered series of 2005 pieces in steel (ref.: 16/8994) will be available for sale as of May 2005. A second series of 250 pieces in 18-carat rose gold (ref.: 16/1260) will also be offered. This new timepiece, eagerly awaited by collectors, will carry the famous red arrow race emblem.
