Hublot Classic Fusion

Some models I checked out at the AD in Singapore. I was fascinated by the new blue Hublot Classic Fusion from Ken's post and decided to drop by the AD to check them out.

Interestingly, to be honest, I wasn't sure about the blue in the metal. It is nice no doubt but somehow when I compared it to the Classic Fusion black dial and the all ceramic case version (with carbon fiber dial), I felt the black dials look more enduring to me. And some of you will know I am a fan of blue dials

The blue is nice and playful but I find it a bit tacky too. Perhaps nice as a party watch or evening watch but not a daily wearer which I feel the black dials will do better.

Some pics to share. What do you think of the blue vs black in steel vs the ceramic case version ?

As for preference, I think it depends on how you are going to wear it. For a more versatile purpose, I prefer the plain black dial. For casual or matching certain outfit style/ colors, I would pick the blue dial. Personally I'm not a big fan of dials with...

Yes surprising fits quite well. The dial is not too big and the case quite ok too so 42mm is a good size. The strap is super comfortable too! The legendary Hublot strap which combines the best of leather and high tech rubber material Cheers Robin

So why not the opaline silver dial (Richards version) in 42mm! :-)

Somehow I cannot make up my mind. The new ones have a cleaner look, more elegant. The dial looks more harmonic(?), but almost a bit empty(?) The old ones look sportier. Personally I was always a big fan of the sceletted hands, at that time, it was one of ...

I\'m actually thinking of getting the newer model with the solid hands with a black dial to complement the opaline one. Maybe next year...we will see ;-)

This means that I'm fine with both the "old" skeleton hands and the new solid hands. But I also admit that the skeleton hands were a unique feature that I like.
