How's Your Depth Perception
I took this photo of the Blancpain Carrousel at an angle to highlight the extraordinary depth of the dial/movement. It is the dimensionality (is that a word?) of it all that reaches out and grabs you. The dial, which consists of a chapter ring and the smaller date and power reserve rings, is made out of white gold and is finished like a thick movement plate. Look at the anglage polish that shows in the photo.
More subtle is the carrousel itself. In this photo you can see that it is elevated above the level of the movement plate. This elevation really brings the machine to the fore.

I am not certain which is better, the watch or the photo.....lol A truly stunning watch that you managed to capture is a perfect way. The problem that you now face is that you have to provide to us more photos and a review :: ))) Cheers
If I remember well

Magnus presented us the first pics of this watch, and at this moment, while admiring them, I was stunned by this watch. The different levels, the finish, and the sophistication of the watch in itself let me speechless! Now, your pics just confirm my first...
