Horological Meandering

Not the most famous brand but this Favre Leuba is special. Condition is almost new. With original everything including SS band....

it not for use in almost daily life, where the Real Dangers abound ;-) For me the fantasy complication for an Altimeter, which can only measure an approximate height above sea level, on on a calm day, or can be calibrated to a certain norm, would be a - R... 

I loved to look at it, but even with (or perhaps because of) the massive science of Seiko behind it, I couldn't figure it out or trust it to show me if things were moving - the yellow pointer was supposed to indicate average movement over the past 4 hours...  

How could you have possibly let it go? Well, four hours may be outside of my accuracy target, but I would love spending them trying to figure out what to push and reset and what the dang thing actually does - and is capable of doing! I would not expect a ...
