I'm new here on purists. I have been on TZ and Newturfers for several years though. I have been looking at a PP 5117 for a while now, but the just released price hike has put me off. Not so much because of the 2 grand, more because it's going into a range where other more interesting options exsist.
A friend of mine introduced me to the "serious" collectors watches such as Sven Andersen and UJ&S. Also the excellent article with Bernard is the latest watchtime magazine made me think.
My before mentioned friend has an UJ&S reference 8 in Pt, which is a looker, even compared to the Rolex's I have been collecting for quite a while now.
So... What are your thoughts on f.ex. UJ&S ? Compared to f.ex. Sven Andersen?
Any good recommendations on a dress watch?
