Se ti riferisci alla scatola del tuo orologio di solito la si associa ad orologi tra la fine degli anni 50 e la meta degli anni 60. Esiste in almeno 4 colori : rossa chiara, rossa piu' scura ,color crema e marrone . Curioso il fatto che sia "Made in Swede...

Cinrurini Gp d'epoca originali e in condizioni NOS ( New Old Stock) non ne ho mai visti. E' possibile che si possa trovare qualche pezzo ma presumo in modo episodico. Rivolgendoti ad un rivenditore Girard Perregaux puoi vedere se esiste qualche modello at...

E' possibile che un'unica fabbrica svedese fornisse box a diverse manifatture di orologi svizzere. Non so' quasi niente sull'argomento. Mi ha colpito il "Made in Sweden" perchè è un marchio che oggi si inconta meno frequentemente del "Made in China" ciao ... 

And this would be logical – at that time same manufacture made dials for several watch brands. Same with cases, bracelets, … Will try to find out which company this was. Will ask my friends here in Sweden! Best Blomman

Thanks guys for the information. Looks like a nice piece there Blomman. Yes Giuseppe, the lugs have been added so presumably the original ones were damaged. I must say I am struggling a bit with different translators, (ignorant Englishman- sorry we don't ...

Thanks Giuseppe for the detailed information, clearly you know your GP's. I guess the best answer I can come up with for the buckle is to get a yellow gold one and then Rhodium Plate it rose gold. Not sure how durable this will be, but best I can come up ... 

Ho fatto alcune prove con fibbia placcata oro giallo di epoca successiva ( anni 60 )... i risultati sono drammatici....decisamente è meglio placcare la fibbia in oro rosa . Ho provato con un cinturino in Lama marrone perchè il quadrante del mio ...

Thanks for the kind welcome Daos, Yes I am a GP fan and this is my second GP. I had previously purchased a Chronograph Rattrapante Automatic 90140 as per the attached pics (not mine)....

I have a similar Girard Perregaux, but unusually, I still have a sales tag with 03/32908 and REF 7421 typed on it. The movement batch number on the watch is 0309345. As you can see, I also have a period correct box. Does anyone know when cases began to be...  

Any reference of the watch being “Anitmagnetic”…? Very cool with the hang tag – original box as well? Best Blomman

Absolutely no Antimagnetic signing. Just the initials, confirming the import substitution industrial origin of the case, and maker's name. If you ever see an Industria Argentina case without GP on the dial, one of the two makes it a frankenwatch! The two ...

Hi, firstly thanks to all for the posts. So TS1987, are you saying I have a 'Frankenwatch'? This sounds scary; I am concerned that a bus load of purists may turn up at the gate with torches and seeking my early demise! No seriously, from my original pictu...
