Help! Scarred/scratched my Dato PT
of 3 months old. Slammed (well a tad too strong of a word) against my car window and now that is a deep scarring scratch from 9 to 10 hour marker on the bezel.
It's not just a simple harline scratch but more a rough scar. If I ws to use a car paint anology, there is definitely a paint break equivalent.
Question, if I send it back to Lange, they should be able to polish it down? Will it cost much? I doubt if the warranty will cover this but hope it can be done out of goodwill.
Suggestions to get it back to near mint condition visually please.

my suggestion isnt to repolish
but to embrace the damage and allow it to let you let go ;-) nothing more liberating than a deep scratch, now you can not worry about it and add more.. then send and get em all polished out at one time when you get to the point where you wanna cry.
The warranty won't cover this, my friend
But it depends on your relations with your AD... It will actually cost you something... Lange will do it perfectly, no problem. Best. Nicolas
