I prefer the proportions and selective use of the Roman numerals on this dial over the “Up/Down”. There’s also less dead space in the dial too.

That green strap looks good on the Dato! Don't think I've seen one before with dark green.
I thought that might've been an OEM Dato strap in your original photo, with that stitching. Those were such wonderful old straps!
The dark green is actually a Vacheron strap.
The Dato is a standard 20x18 so plenty of choices. The tan strap is a custom Camille Fournet
