Hamilton owners, please, I need some feedback!
I've just got this watch back from the watchmaker because, although battery was fine, it didn't work. He says that this may happen with this kind of watches (I'm really not much of a quartz watches lover). They suddenly stop, you open them, remove the battery, put it back and, they simply work again! He said it may be due to magnetization, but didn't really have an answer.
Any similar issue among you guys?!

Hi Mary, I do have a Hamilton but a mechanical RAF from 1975-like this one
So I can’t be of much help. In any case the watchmaker is pulling your leg and you should find a proper Hamilton service point or contact the manufacture directly. Let us know how it goes ...

And he does not charge money for such repairings. Anyway, I would have loved to get feedback about whether other quartz Khaki may get suddenly stuck and for what reason! I'm a scientist and like knowing why things happen! Regerds, Simone
