Grande Date Power Reserve
Hi,
I have the current version Aqualung with grande date. It has about 65 hours power reserve. The earlier version with single date has 100 hours. Are there any particulars as to why the grande date eats up more reserve? Just curious.

It takes more energy to change the double date so the power reserve is reduced from 100hrs.
The change of the date around midnight ...
was slow (like most in the market) and now it switches in a second. Looks very nice, but there is a price to pay - less power reserve.

less guaranteed power reserve. The watch is rated for 70h (compared to 100h of the base movement), but you might get much more. Only if the date change is in the way, the watch will stop close after 70h. Cheers, Magnus
