GP 2006: The comprehensive overview - Vintage 45 line
Dear enthusiasts,
i?m happy to give a more comprehensive overview of the new models by Girard-Perregaux, of which there are some.
This will be a two-stage approach; first of all, the model informations will be shared based on the respective model lines: Vintage45, Lady Collection, BMW ORACLE Racing, Laureato, Monte Carlo Rallye, Classic Elegance, the "Tourbillon Pen" collection and finally, GP?s new movements caliber GP2700 and GP4500.
Then we will have a second look at the models (which will be accompanied by some of the roughly 1.200 pictures taken during SIHH) and additional notes, which i hope will give you further insights and will add to the fun. Here?s an example of what i have in mind:
In addition, there will be a more or less comprehensive list of the models that are
not part of the "official" coverage, such as the "Swiss Edition WWTC" as featured yesterday and the two-tone "Laureato Evo3" in Titanium/RG as featured earlier from Geneva.
These models are unlikely to be seen anywhere else and because the editions include some very rare and very beautiful pieces, you may want to make sure not to miss these.
Let?s start with what is GP?s best-selling model range and to me an icon that stands for all that is GP - the Vintage45 line:

The current key models of the Vintage45 portfolio:

The Vintage45 range will be strengthened by six new models, which span the range from ladies to mens watches and from the "simple" to the most complicated.
The release of new models will undergo the year of 2006 and before introducing the individual models, an overview of the dates and releases to be expected:
Please feel kindly invited to discover the new models in the Vintage45 range in separate follow-up posts!
Greetings from germany,
