Glasshutte Original question..
Hi,
I am a WUS and has been for like 3 years or so. I love Seiko, Citizen, Omega etc...and have been through a fair amount of each.
I am not normally a fan of the Glasshutte brand (out of my price range 
) but yesterday while in a shop I noticed a guy wearing a nice, large gold watch. I saw the sweeping second hand and a pusher at 8 o clock..
I was intrigued and asked him what watch he was wearing as I really liked it. He said it was a Glasshutte he had just bought while working abroad. I knew the brand makes in house movements, very top end etc.. so I kept asking as I was interested.
He said he was not into watches but he bought it from a guy for a very good price and he could not refuse. He said that he would sell it if I'm interested. I like the watch and i think the price he is asking is very fair but I knew nothing about the watch...
Anyway today I found that it is called the Senator Panorama date (model 100-03-11-01-04). One thing though I dont like on the watch...it had a small print of a face at 9 o'clock :-(. The man said it is Gaddafi as this watch commemorates an anniversary for this leader. Is this a limited edition watch maybe and the guy does not know this? Maybe I can buy and sell for a profit? Any ideas about this watch would be much appreciated...what is the value of such a watch? Thanks for any help!
