First Quartz Patek Philippe 3944
My first Quartz Patek Philippe.
The 3944 was offered to me in 2003 and I could not say no. I was longing for another Patek after selling my 3919 for personal reasons a year of more before.
The 3944 is a lovely watch but flawed for a purist collector. Like an automatic Porsche (before sloppy paddle - I am talking T-Bar Auto).
I was a snob who was affected by negative comments of "so-called friends."
I sold this baby. Oh - I wish she was still mine.
A quality quarz Patek. A beautiful watch.
I was a fool to listen to the friends...... most of whom I don't mix with now anyhow!

A great watch, and a fine example from a time when it seemed that high-end quartz offerings were going to be a thing. I hope to pick up a 3944 or 3744 myself one day, with any luck !
