Hi everyone,
I am happy to write this post because it means that I took delivery of my Blancpain Aqualung 2100 today. It seems to be really one of the last of the 1999 series made and my truly great AD was able to collect it from Switzerland. Maybe it's all Blancpain salestalk, but hell I am thrilled with it. Of course you all have seen this watch a million times on this and other forum sites but I think it's a great looking watch with the right proportions and a fantastic dial. Hundred hours power reserve does it for me to and so does the view on the 1151 cal. It took me a long time to choose between all the different watches out there and I was actually still hesitating when I drove up to my AD this morning. Seeing the watch for the second time in the flesh made me realize again why I went for this piece. The 200 km drive back nearly got me killed quite a few times, while I was looking more on my wrist than on the road. I even tried checking it out on the wrist in my rear view mirror! Seems that buying watches is risky business.Of course I have to thank all you guys out there for giving me great information and reviews so I could make a wise decision, or did I.......

Regards,
Starman
