Ever fall in love while looking for another?
Lately, I have become very interested in IWC, both the company and its beautiful watches.
This one became my 3rd one. I fell in love with it while looking for another Portugieser.
I wanted a Portugieser (SS, silver dial, blue hands) and spotted this Portugieser Yacht Club RG combo.
I couldn't get it out of my mind. I did buy the silver dial Portugieser (pic below), but...... this one just wouldn't leave me alone.
I know combo SS and gold watches are not liked by many, but this one in RG, with those beautiful dial elements, is mesmerizing to look at.
It's simple but elegant and different looking from the silver/blue dial Portugieser. It's my first combo and I am happy with this additon to my collection.

and yes it happens as sometime a watch might not be on our radar but when we see it in the flesh things change!
