Early Holiday Present from Chopard Japan
It's a bit early, but the streets are lit with holiday light-ups and trees are dressed..... And Chopard Tokyo Boutique had a small holiday concert inviting young promising violinist and cellist and gave us a nice holiday spirit - just a few weeks to go!
Before the concert, I was served iced tea on a unique plate - immediately noticed that it was Urushi plate with gold lettering of "Chopard" - Only those who know and understand the value and occasion of those urushi/ maki-e should be used. Very nice touch, Chopard!
On the back is the logo of the urushi ware brand.
And, also Chopard desert!
This is the "Salon" on the 3rd floor of Chopard Ginza boutique.
Now the young artists arrive and on the right is the Boutique Manager, Ms. Nonaka who introduces these young artists. They played from Ave Maria to Canon to etc... Very nice feeling indeed.
Now the watches. Look what I found there!
Really drool-worthy piece, as you all may know. I really have to think hard.....
First time to handle - the feel of the pusher is one of the most comfortable smoothness. Very, very attractive.
Ah, and THE one, which Brendon was wearing, too......
The back side is, well, I wish it were more transparent, but there is only one small window to show the speed of the balance wheel.
A part of the rotor can be seen, too.
Titanium buckle.
Very nice black and red touch.
Center is titanium, and bezel and bottom are ceramic, I believe.
This combination could look good, too
Soon it will be time to pick my own holiday present (yeah, no one to give to and no one who gives me!) again. Stay tuned...
Best,
Ken
Thank you, Chopard Ginza Boutique!
